Goju-Ryu karate-do

Goju-Ryu (剛柔流) is a traditional style of Karate originated from Okinawa. It features both hard and soft techniques, utilizes direct strikes and circular movement to deflect attacks rather than trying to meet strength with strength. It's primarily a close-ranged fighting system that uses open-hand blocking, grasping motions and short-ranged strikes. Its kata put a strong accent on correct breathing. Goju-Ryu is one of the most popular mainstream Karate-Do style. Find out more.
